The beginning of the “Dollars Trilogy” (along with A Few Dollars More and The Good, The Bad and the Ugly), not to mention the start of the Spaghetti Western legacy, A Fistful of Dollars stars the brooding Clint Eastwood as “the man with no name” who arrives in the small Mexican border town of San Miguel. The town is torn apart by the warring of the Baxter and Rojo families. A cunning man who also happens to be quick with a gun, he plays the two sides off of each other and aims to get rich in the process. All this Leone magic is set to Ennio Morricone’s sweeping score.
The TarantinosNYC specialize in 60’s-70’s Surf, Soul, Spy and Spaghetti Western instrumentals, featuring the great soundtrack material in Quentin Tarantino movies and also originals in the style of classic movie and TV themes.
