Hatched is getting in the mood for love this week as we countdown to February 14. We’ll be celebrating St. Valentine with a Live Sound Cinema event to Buster Keaton’s The Navigator but, until then, we’re engaging in a little “staff favorites” foreplay with of our favorite loved-up flicks.

From Max…a whole lotta Cary Grant…

When it comes to Romance I stay in the 30s and 40s I am a huge Cary Grant fan and I think he made some of the best!

Hitchcock’s Notorious a Romance set against a Nazi Spy thriller and Ingrid oh… Ingrid my favorite!

Holiday (1938) Hepburn/ Grant A classic tale of Rich girl falls in love…  you know.

Arsenic and Old Lace Grant in one of my favorite comedies complete with Romance, Teddy Roosevelt, old laides and murder.

oh and who can forget! Not a Cary Grant but at the very top of my list is Top Hat Astaire and Rogers “I’m in Heaven”

Modern Romance guilty pleasure is French Kiss with Kevin Klein and Meg Ryan. Directed by Lawrence Kasdan.
