We’re showing¬†Wild Style¬†here next week, which means we’re getting our heads in the right place by blasting a lot of rap from the days of track suits and graffiti that’s eeevvverywhere.

That’s how we came across this jam, “Hey D.J.” by World’s Famous Supreme Team, a New York rap crew, which rocks a hell of a music video. You’d be well suited to go ahead and watch it, but if you need some convincing: fly girls dancing in front of arcade machines, dancing multi-colored Chuck-T’s and dancin (dancin!) all night (all night!).

The song was released a year after Wild Style, so it’s a little softer around the edges than the street beats in the movie, but screw it, stop splitting hairs.
