My brain tells me to not like Wes Anderson movies. Dude seems like the kind of guy who spends his spare time browsing eBay for vintage alarm clocks, and that’s not usually the sort of thing I can get behind. Despite his buttoned up twee aesthetic, Wes Anderson always manages to worm his way into my heart. I even like The Darjeeling Limited, with its fancy suits and dandy-boy travel bags, slow motion running to the Kinks. You know, sure, it’s obnoxious, but he puts Bill Murray and Bob Balaban in movies, stop complaining.
