DARK SPARKS: FILMS THAT IGNITE HORROR AUTHORS is a series of writer-curated hybrid reading/screenings that celebrate the influence of film on horror literature. At each event, a horror novelist selected by Brooklyn Horror Society and The Twisted Spine reads from their work, followed by a brief interview about their influences. Then, we screen a movie of their choice that has shaped the way they think about horror.
