Fingers

Midnite weekend screenings happen on Friday & Saturday nights (meaning arrive on Friday and/or Saturday night by 11:45pm for seating, the movie starts after midnite)!

Director: James Toback Run Time: 90 min. Format: 35mm Rating: R Release Year: 1978

Starring: Danny Aiello, Harvey Keitel, Jim Brown, Tisa Farrow

On November 19, come sink your teeth into this tasty New York City time-capsule treat with THE DEUCE ding-dongs: James Toback’s meaty mastication of macho-masochism FINGERS – as it played on ol’ 42nd Street at The Selwyn Theatre in April of 1978!

Plus: Prizes and surprises, Bronx Brewery Pale Ale at the after-party, and music by Maestro Jeff! Hosted and presented by THE DEUCE JOCKEYS: Jeff, Andy, and Joe!

Harvey Keitel’s wannabe concert pianist turned thug-for-the-mob gets the hots for taciturn sculptress Tisa Farrow – but her super-stud “boyfriend” Jim Brown might have something – or possibly nothing – to say about it… Perverse, petulant, personal – and at times painfully penetrating – a pointed portrait of the preposterousness of the masculine myth… crawling through the nooks and crannies of a city as fractured as its protagonist’s psyche — to a tune filled track of Bach, Bebop, and Girl Group Rock ‘n’ Roll – it’ll get its FINGERS in you!

All DEUCE screenings are 35mm presentations.

Deuce Jockeys: Jeff, Joe, Andy, Max, Andrew
