Meanwhile, each club member faces her own personal challenges, including divorced parents, a discouraging diabetes diagnosis and an innocent crush on an older boy.

The vengeful Ooze kills their elderly mentor, Zordon (Nicholas Bell), and with him the source of the Rangers’ power. Stunned by Zordon’s death, the Rangers struggle to contain Ooze without the help of the Zords, the giant mechanical robots they have grown to depend upon in battle.

Action meets farce when Marcus is compelled to masquerade as his partner in order to gain the trust of a call girl (Tea Leoni), a key witness in their investigation.

Focusing on four friends navigating the dating world to find their mythical Mr. Rights, this vivacious debut film from writer-director Patrik-Ian Polk is an outrageously spirited ensemble comedy with verve and wit. Unprecedented in the way it captures black gay life and romance, Punks also explores universal aspects of friendship in dynamic and surprising ways.

The Man in Possession

Fresh out of the joint, reformed car thief Raymond Dabney (Robert Montgomery) comes home to find his do-good brother engaged to a wealthy debutante. But Raymond is ready to turn over a new leaf, and takes a steady gig as a sheriff’s officer tasked with reclaiming the property of his indebted bettors. When his latest case installs him in the mansion of broke socialite Crystal Wetherby (Irene Purcell), Raymond gamely offers to pose as Crystal’s butler to maintain appearances during a visit with her fiance and his family – who turn out to be none other than, you guessed it, the Dabneys!

Your hosts’ favorite heartthrob, Robert Montgomery, is at his most charming in this delightful comedy that is made all the more interesting with its lascivious flourishes.

Despite the objections of her family and some very wobbly beginnings, Lilah improves, and soon she finds herself competing with Steven for a coveted television spot.

To Live and Die in L.A.
