No one can speak to the experience of living under surging anti-trans legislation with more authority than trans people themselves. This T4T shorts program gathers some of the most lucid trans voices of our time—unfiltered and fearless artists, poets, writers, and activists—who remind us that history cannot be written without the “T,” and that our undeniable truth will always be louder than fascism.

Confronting the current capitalist order through wildly different visions of trans liberation, the protagonists of these stories refuse to remain silent. Instead, they wield sharp satire and irony against the power structures that seek to contain them. As heidi andrea restrepo rhodes writes in their poem, “Transgender opera for perpetual metamorphosis”: “we are a transgression, everywhere, beautiful & alive.”
