A classic from the pinnacle of the Golden Age of Action that never quite gets its due. In this rip-roaring butt-kicker, a world class director and action choreographer assembles his brothers alongside a team of B-list martial artists to show Hollywood how to make a superhero movie. When this flick came out, one of its leads was considered not-quite-ready-for-primetime but he’s gone on to become one of the biggest action stars in the world, and here he shows that because he’s second best he’s going to try twice as hard. This is a chaotic supernova of fun, and a timely reminder this November that what we have to be thankful for are Hong Kong movies.
