The Butterfly Effect

Tue, Jun 23

Midnite weekend screenings happen on Friday & Saturday nights (meaning arrive on Friday and/or Saturday night by 11:45pm for seating, the movie starts after midnite)!

Director: Eric Bress, J. Mackye Gruber Run Time: 113 min. Format: 35mm Rating: R Release Year: 2004

Starring: Ashton Kutcher, Amy Smart

What if you had the power to change the reality of the one you love most… only to muck it up into something much worse?

Ashton Kutcher stars as Evan Treborn, a college student who learns to harness his blackouts to travel back in time, earnestly trying to prevent traumatic events only to awake to an even more grim present. A jaw-dropping amount of darkness weaves into a chaotic plot that is at turns a ponderous dorm-room sci-fi, sinister childhood nightmare, violent prison exploitation, and otherwise unclassifiable drama. We love it when a major studio and big star swing so boldly!
