Ever since ex-cop Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker) and Mia Torretto (Jordana Brewster) broke her brother Dom (Vin Diesel) out of custody, they’ve traveled border to border to evade authorities. In Rio de Janeiro, they must do one final job before they can gain their freedom for good. Assembling their elite team of car racers, Brian and Dom know they must confront the corrupt businessman who wants them dead, before the federal agent (Dwayne Johnson) on their trail finds them.
It all begins with this one, the very first of the franchise: THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS. Here we first meet Domenic Toretto, a Los Angeles street racer suspected of masterminding a series of big-rig hijackings, and the undercover cop Brian O’Conner. When O’Connor infiltrates Toretto’s iconoclastic crew, he falls for his sister and must choose a side: the gang or the LAPD.
When a crime brings them back to Los Angeles, fugitive ex-con Dom Toretto reignites his feud with agent Brian O’Conner. But as they are forced to confront a shared enemy, Dom and Brian must give in to an uncertain new trust if they hope to outmaneuver him. In the fourth installation, these two men will find the best way to get revenge: push the limits of what’s possible behind the wheel.
In classic trilogy third style, THE FAST AND THE FURIOUS: TOKYO DRIFT is slightly off-brand but you should still love the overlooked gem.
Sean Boswell (Lucas Black) always feels like an outsider, but he defines himself through his victories as a street racer. His hobby makes him unpopular with the authorities, so he goes to live with his father in Japan. Once there and even more alienated, he learns about an exciting, but dangerous, new style of the sport. The stakes are high when Sean takes on the local champion and falls for the man’s girlfriend.
They’re back! This sequel focuses on ex-police officer Brian O’Conner (Paul Walker), who relocates from Los Angeles to Miami to start over. Becoming involved in the street-racing scene in his new city, Brian befriends car-savvy Tej (Chris “Ludacris” Bridges) and Suki (Devon Aoki), but his competitive streak ends when federal agents apprehend him and he must enter into a deal with the FBI. Working with new partner Roman Pearce (Tyrese), Brian begins a dangerous mission to take down a powerful drug dealer.

Based on the biography of Marie Antoinette by Antonia Fraser, Sofia Coppola’s Marie Antoinette takes a luscious look on the misunderstood Queen of France. By incorporating modern elements with the soundtrack and other periodic anachronistic objects, Coppola adds to her trilogy of films that explore life defining experiences of young women by making the 18th century accessible. Marie Antoinette, born in Austria and married off to become the Queen of France at a ridiculously young age, was a complex historical character who indulged, loved, and lost on extreme terms.
Steven Spielberg brings future of crime prevention to the present with an eerily familiar in MINORITY REPORT.

A perfectly decent aughtsy yuppie party gets interrupted when the head of the Statue of Liberty comes crashing into the street – and when some… thing knocks down the Woolworth Building, all Hell breaks loose. Cut off on Manhattan, a small group of friends navigate the chaotic streets of New York as the Army takes on the gigantic creature and smaller parasites fall from its underbelly, attacking everything they see. With a tip that the Army plans to torch the city once the final evacuation chopper takes off – the group races to Central Park to save one of their friends before Manhattan gets bombed into dust.
The brainchild of J.J. Abrams and director Matt Reeves, Cloverfield is a disorienting and intense first-person look at the chaos and panic that rips through a city under threat, a giant monster movie as inspired by the attacks of September 11 as it is by Godzilla or King Kong

Let’s face it. Most college football teams are pretty bad. Games can still be fun though, and if there’s a killer marching band? Even better. This is Devon Miles’ (Nick Cannon) world, a Harlem street drummer who caught a full ride at Atlanta A&T University, a (made up) college whose pride and joy is its marching band. A cocky hotshot, Devon isn’t an immediate fit to the stiff, classically oriented program, and his aggressive quest to prove himself the best drummer in school ostracizes him from his bandmates. But as the football season marches on, Devon must mend bridges to save his corps in time for the BET Big Southern Classic — an epic televised showdown of the country’s best marching bands.
