  • 9:15 pm

Midnite weekend screenings happen on Friday & Saturday nights (meaning arrive on Friday and/or Saturday night by 11:45pm for seating, the movie starts after midnite)!

Director: Craig R. Baxley Run Time: 91 min. Format: 35mm Rating: R Release Year: 1990

Starring: Dolph Lundgren, Brian Benben, Betsy Brantley, Matthias Hues

When a mysterious extraterrestrial with a glorious bleached mullet starts vaporizing humans to harvest – let’s call it “cosmic narcotics” – hard-nosed cop Jack Caine (Dolph Lundgren) is forced to team up with an FBI agent who is lacking in both humor and patience. Together, they chase the leather-clad space menace whose weapons include razor-sharp CDs!

Part sci-fi thriller, part buddy-cop actioner, and notably a Christmas-set movie, Dark Angel (aka I Come in Peace) is an explosion of over-the-top set pieces as only genre master Craig R. Baxley (Action Jackson, Stone Cold) can pull off that reinforces the eternal cinematic truth that if an alien says he comes in peace… he probably does not.
