Spoons Toons & Booze Rocks After Dark

Thu, Jun 4

Midnite weekend screenings happen on Friday & Saturday nights (meaning arrive on Friday and/or Saturday night by 11:45pm for seating, the movie starts after midnite)!

Run Time: 130 min.

Spoons Toons & Booze goes full volume with Rocks After Dark, the late-night, slightly feral edition where the cartoons are louder, crazier, and way more likely to start a band and ruin each other’s lives. Expect a stacked lineup of music-themed episodes: rock stars, band breakups, world tours, musical episodes, battle-of-the-bands meltdowns, and at least one animated idiot discovering fame and immediately blowing it. SecretFormula’s Michael Austin and Nell Casey are back on the mic with commentary that absolutely does not pass a daytime censor.

The vault is 150+ series deep (’40s through mid-2000s), and you’ll fight it out in contests to decide what we watch, plus snag cartoon-and-cereal-themed prizes and Nitehawk tickets if you prove you know your stuff. The cereal bar is unlimited and aggressively sugary (vegan and GF options available), and there’s a lineup of cereal-inspired drinks if you’re looking to make questionable decisions. It’s loud, it’s nostalgic, and it’s a little bit trashy in the best way.

If you are unable to attend, we will happily offer you an e-credit. Please notify us at least 24 hours prior to the event. Vouchers can be used Monday – Thursdays (after the first week of a film), and not on holidays.  Vouchers do not expire.
