Directed by John Huston and featuring iconic performances by Albert Finney, Carol Burnett, Tim Curry and Bernadette Peters, Annie is full of songs, Sandy, a bit of danger and a whole lot of heart. ‘Tis the season with Nitehawk Cinema and Ballast Point’s Film Feast presentation of the holiday classic Christmas Vacation. As always, the screening includes delicious beverage and food menu pairings related to the film. The best part? You’ll be served each course during the specific moments that inspired the film so you can experience edible sensations while watching all of the action unfold on-screen! After the movie there will be an after party in the cafe with Christmas punch and homemade cookies!

Bad luck seems to follow Clark Griswold and his family no matter where they go or what they do. The perpetual optimist, our dear Clark (don’t you just love the young Chevy Chase?) tries to make the holidays a special family event by chopping down the biggest tree in the forest, hanging a million Christmas lights, and dealing with his obnoxious visiting family members. He does this all while banking on his holiday bonus – but will it come? This third installment of the National Lampoon Vacation film series was written by the beloved John Hughes (just like another popular holiday flick, Home Alone).

Despite its sunny SoCal setting, Less Than Zero offers a glimpse into the dark side of the privileged but also the power of friendship. We declare this a new holiday must-watch movie!

Just like in the fight against the zombies in Dawn of the Dead, the mall offers the only tools for survival at the Chopping Mall!

A single mom hopes to make her son’s birthday wishes come true by giving him the sweetest talking doll on the market but, well, we know about best intentions. Dear Chucky is actually housing the soul of serial killer Charles Lee Ray (aka the “Lakeshore Strangler”) who, through the magic of voodoo, manages to do so after being shot by the cop Mike Norris. Of course, when Chucky starts acting all murderous no one believes the kid or the mother…until it happens to them!

It’s hard to mention all the things that make this film so fantastic: everything about Duckie but particularly when he sings Otis Redding, Annie Potts’ fetish-loving record store owner, Andrew McCarthy’s beady eyes, all things Molly Ringwald, Harry Dean Stanton as the lovable father, and the creepy lurkings of James Spader. Plus, that glorious soundtrack! Pretty in Pink is the 1980s at its very best.

One such victim is the young and naive Cecile who they seem hell bent on destroying for no real reason other than mild satisfaction. It isn’t until a new young lady named Annette comes into their life that a bet made between the two that he can take her coveted virginity turns dramatically complicated. Taking on a near soap opera style, Cruel Intentions is the sexiest of the 1990s teen-drama films.
