Atlantis: The Lost Empire

An inexperienced young adventurer becomes the key to unraveling an ancient mystery when he joins up with a group of daredevil explorers to find the legendary lost empire of Atlantis. A naive-but-determined museum cartographer Milo Thatch (Michael J. Fox), dreams of completing the quest begun by his late grandfather, a famous explorer. When a journal surfaces, an eccentric billionaire funds an expedition and the action shifts to high gear.

Pride & Prejudice (2005)

Although there is obvious chemistry between the two, Darcy’s overly reserved nature threatens the fledgling relationship.

Jack and Jill

Having increased its lifespan as meme fodder for the social media landscape, Jack and Jill is arguably Adam Sandler’s most absurd movie, brimming with goofy antics that rival Jerry Lewis at his most unhinged. In what may be the only straight-up comedy he has appeared in, Al Pacino puts 100% into playing a wild version of himself – an accomplished actor drawn to crude twin Jill (who is, of course, Adam Sandler in drag), his Dulcinea, evocative of his Bronx origins. This performance is such a gift – would you really pass up the opportunity to see the Dunkaccino commercial on 35mm film?

The Little Mermaid (2023)

The Little Mermaid contains sequences with flashing lights that may affect those who are susceptible to photosensitive epilepsy or have other photosensitivities.

The youngest of King Triton’s daughters, and the most defiant, Ariel longs to find out more about the world beyond the sea, and while visiting the surface, falls for the dashing Prince Eric. While mermaids are forbidden to interact with humans, Ariel must follow her heart. She makes a deal with the evil sea witch, Ursula, which gives her a chance to experience life on land, but ultimately places her life — and her father’s crown — in jeopardy.

Mummies

The film follows the fun adventures of three Egyptian mummies who live in an underground secret city, hidden in ancient Egypt. The trio includes a princess, a former charioteer, and his younger brother along with their pet baby crocodile. Through a series of unfortunate events, the mummies end up in present-day London and embark on a wacky and hilarious journey in search of an old ring belonging to the Royal Family, that was stolen by the ambitious archaeologist Lord Carnaby.

True Stories

Talking Heads singer David Byrne plays host to this bizarre patchwork of tabloid-inspired tales, set in the fictional town of Virgil, Texas. Cruising the streets in his cherry-red drop-top, Byrne introduces viewers to the local eccentrics gearing up for the town’s 150th anniversary. They include a community leader (Spalding Gray) with a thing for veggies, a woman (Swoosie Kurtz) so lazy she won’t leave her bed, a lovelorn country singer (John Goodman) and more!

In October 1962, the Cuban Missile Crisis occurs and the menace of nuclear war looms over the American South. Low-budget filmmaker Lawrence Woolsey (John Goodman) is in Key West, Fla., debuting his new film “Mant!” and thinks the prevailing mood of fear surrounding the premiere is perfect to stir up some excitement. A group of local teenagers (Simon Fenton, Lisa Jakub, Kellie Martin) prepare for the film’s opening night, experiencing small crises of their own.
