It’s time to go back to school with The Class of 1984! Marc Lester’s 1982 punk gang classic is presented on beautiful 35mm and actor Stefan Arngrim, Drugstore himself, will be joining us in person to introduce the film and do a live Q&A after the screening. Stefan will be available before and after with merchandise and photo-ops for sale. Be there or we’ll see you in detention!

Whether you’re into punk, vengeance or sitcom stars getting stabbed, this is one 50-pound sack of Armageddon you cannot miss. Helmed by Mark L. Lester—the firecracker director of Commando and FirestarterClass of 1984 is one of the classic punk era’s most incendiary treatises against the scourge of youth. The scene is set: when a rabid pack of rampaging delinquents overruns an all-American high school, brutality and decadence are everywhere. Enter the novice teacher (Perry King, Andy Warhol’s Bad), who’s forced to violently turn the tables before the bloodthirsty gang’s trash wave swallows the town alive. Class of 1984 is a perfect exploitation film—it’s relentlessly seedy, overflowing with violence, drug use, and crime, crime, CRIME! But beyond all this, there’s an absorbing air of leather-clad heartlessness that makes this movie flat-out the best in its genre.
