Narrated by John Waters, Wall Writers is a documentary about graffiti in its innocence. Through unprecedented access to TAKI183, CORNBREAD and other legendary writers, Wall Writers features photographs and archival footage from the late 1960s and early 1970s, a time when underprivileged city kids refused to remain in the shadows.
Roger Gastman is a curator, graffiti historian, urban anthropologist and collector. Gastman has worked on or produced several critically acclaimed documentaries, including Infamy, Banksy’s Oscar-nominated Exit Through the Gift Shop and The Legend of Cool “Disco” Dan.
Sacha Jenkins SHR co-founded the hip-hop newspaper Beat Down and Ego Trip magazine and is the chief creative officer at Mass Appeal. He is also the director of Wu-Tang Clan: Of Mics and Men.
