A Brooklyn Dream is a 90-minute Brooklyn fever dream — part film, part immersive experience, part memory brought to life.

Past and present collide as we move through generations of one Brooklyn family and the city that shaped them. Postwar dreams, neighborhood legends, social clubs, pizzerias, street corners, subway tunnels, graffiti, music, love and loss bleed into one another as the audience travels through the memories of Kaves.

Characters step out of the past. Stories become cinema. Cinema gives way to live experience. At times you’re watching the dream — and at others, you’re inside it.

Built from the world of the television series currently in production and the immersive theatrical experience, this special work-in-progress presentation at Nitehawk Cinema blurs the line between film, theater, memory and reality.

This isn’t a traditional movie. Characters jump off the screen and the story comes alive in the theater itself.

It’s a fever dream about Brooklyn, family, survival and becoming the artist you were meant to be.
