THE FUTURE OF FILM IS FEMALE
The Future of Film is Female is a non-profit organization that amplifies the work of all women and non-binary filmmakers through its short film fund, unique commitment to exhibition, and community
building programs.
The FOFIF believes that exhibition and building audience relationships are essential towards gender equality behind the camera; this is achieved by presenting screenings with like-minded partners across the industry. The FOFIF series at Nitehawk focuses on new releases, revisits, and curated programs by women and non-binary filmmakers throughout their careers.
