Midnite weekend screenings happen on Friday & Saturday nights (meaning arrive on Friday and/or Saturday night by 11:45pm for seating, the movie starts after midnite)!

Director: Mark H. Rapaport Run Time: 98 min. Format: DCP Release Year: 2026

A reclusive priest (Al Warren) is getting set up inside his isolated church when offbeats twins, calling themselves simply Firstborn (Sarah Coffey) and Secondborn (Kimball Farley), enter the building wearing white track suits and claiming that they’re there to carry out a divine mission. That’s the set-up for one of the stranger films of this year, or any recent year, an atmospheric and off-kilter look at dogmatic lunacy and faith under fire from the mind of filmmaker Mark H. Rapaport, whose 2023 film HIPPO similarly shattered conventions and blurred genre lines. Here, Rapaport, along with his small and dynamite cast, balances weirdness with poignancy in a marriage of comedy, horror and surrealism that’ll both challenge and reward its viewers. —Matt Barone
