The circumstances for this family reunion for three generations of women (played by Olwen Fouéré, Camille Sullivan, and Summer H. Howell) are not, let’s just say, ideal. Inside a remote cabin, they’ve come together to enact vengeance over a loved one’s death by kidnapping the man they deem responsible and forcing him to confess. But when they discover that he’s not who, or what, they think he is, the women are plunged into a night of pure horror as the man’s own “family” converge on the cabin with their own agenda, one marked by the sucking of blood. Horror luminary and filmmaker Rebekah McKendry delivers a blast of feminine rage and monster movie anarchy in this combo of siege action and supernatural scares. —Matt Barone
