Famously overcoming two years’ worth of release date delays and drama through strong film festival word-of-mouth, writer-director Michael Dougherty’s Halloween anthology horror-comedy TRICK ’R TREAT officially debuted in 2009 and immediately became a modern Samhain classic. In PULP FICTION STYLE, Dougherty’s raucous crowd-pleaser follows a quartet of stories in a quaint suburban town on October 31st and introduced a pint-sized horror icon in pumpkin-headed, though sometimes burlap-sack-masked, demon Sam.
